The act symbolises the joining of two lives and is the origin of the phrase “tying the knot”. Handfasting is particularly popular in pagan, Celtic and nature-inspired weddings, though many modern couples include it simply because they love the symbolism.

I specialise in creating fantasy, historical and themed ceremonies that incorporate storytelling, symbolism and rituals inspired by mythology, history or literature. For themed celebrations I can also perform the ceremony in costume to match the atmosphere of your wedding.
